Day 7 - Port Macquarie

Well that was the last full day in Port Macquarie.

Being Tuesday Faye had her Zoom Bible study for her KYB Group. They are hoping to be able to get back together next term.

Then we went to Sea Acres Rainforest Centre and did the walk which was all on a raised boardwalk...

This rainforest is close to town and is right on the coast. And the most southerly semi tropical rainforest in NSW.

It was a lovely and interesting walk. Is a NSW National Park and had a talk to the Head Ranger whilst on the walk (she was doing a loop to clear her head whilst on a break). Apparently it is bird watchers paradise!

Then had a nice lunch at their Cafe before heading south to Dooragan National Park and up to the lookout on North Brother mountain...

Here are some other photos taken today - mostly at the rainforest.

We leave here in the morning and the current plan is to go to Coopernook State Forest where there is a free camp. How long we stay will depend on the weather.
