Day 73 - Rochester

A pretty cold morning today but the sun came out and it was a nice day.

First stop was the factory of Kookas Country Cookies. We had seen the signs and they are hand made. Started 28 years ago and now has 22 employees. We hadn’t seen them before but was told in NSW Coles should have them and some Woolies. Had to buy some!

Saw some reference at the shop that Donald is the home of the Bullock Head so had a look at the Richardson River. See photo 2.

Then to the Bakery for morning tea followed by BP giving Percy a drink.

Approx 65 km to Nullawil where the next painted silos are located.

These silos were only completed 3 weeks ago. Some close ups...

We had seen some criticism about the mans head not being complete. But it was pointed out that it is about the dog not the man!

We were going to stay at Boort but as it was only 2pm we came through to Rochester where the next painted silos are. We are camped next to the silos and just about on the railway line as you will see in the last 2 photos - not quite on platform 1. A passenger train from melbourne just stopped but told there are no services during the night.

We have taken photos of the silos here but as we can get more in the morning when the sun may be in a better position we will put these on tomorrows blog. Tomorrow going to Shepparton for 2 nights.
