However, the weather started to change with a dust storm as you can see from some of the photos below.
We had morning tea just outside town looking over the river - 3rd photo.
Then another 180km to Karoonda. The last 100km the weather turned ugly with gale force winds buffeting the van. It was a slow trip to Karoonda to ensure Ken had control. The dust cleared away but when we got to the Karoonda silos the wind was just so strong it was hard to hold a camera to photograph them. But, the silos were really great as we hope you can see from the photos below. Some of the silos have been left clear as they do projection of local artists work onto those silos for 3 hours each evening from dusk. It started to rain just as we left the silos.
Just about to have tea and then to have a look. The rain has now stopped but the wind remains.
Due to the weather we are in a caravan park to have power!
Tomorrow further south to the last silo we will see in South Australia.
