Next stop was at Mt Surprise for lunch and then onto Georgetown....The temp was 29 today and had to have the air con running in Percy.
Tonight we are about 20 kms west of Georgetown at the Cumberland Chimney. It was a gold mine back in the 1890’s and was a good size town until the early 1900’s when the gold ran out. The chimney and dam are the only remaining remnants of the mine. Lots of people camped here tonight...
