Day 40 - Cliff Head

A nice slow start to the day as we only travelled just over 100km. Morning tea was at Greenough which is an historic village. The first 4 photos were taken there. The tree is a river gum and is still alive and got that way due to the prevailing winds.

After Dongara we turned onto the new Indian Ocean Drive and where we are camped is a free camp right on the ocean.

We were here for lunch and after a rest we did a long walk along the beach and Faye has the usual haul to bring home (along with rocks from many places!).

Whilst walking Ken got these bird photos...This is a pretty good place to stay.

Tomorrow moving onto Jurien Bay.
