Left Sandstone around 9am with morning tea along the road to Mt Magnet. Arrived there in time for lunch. Not much to see there.
But although we had seen some flowers to Mt Magnet, the next 100km the roadside lit up with flowers everywhere. Percy had to turn around a few times as Faye called - go back!!
Tonight we are at a railway ruins spot about 50km from Yalgoo. It was on the line from Geraldton to Cue, built from 1894 and closed down in 1978. We decided to stay here as we are surrounded by flowers.
The first set of photos include sunset last night and some glimpses along the way to our evening camp.
The rest of the photos are of some of the flowers. These show the carpet of flowers - most as far as you could see - then the individual flower.
And then some others...
The last photo is alongside the van where we are camped for the night.
Tomorrow we go to Mullewa.
