A cold night last night but sunny and warm today. Went to Church this morning. The Baptist Church here is quite large with a good spread of ages and ministries.
Then went to the Tourist Centre to get some info etc. Walked the main street and here are some of the unique buildings...
The final one is at Boulder where the van park is. Hannan Street was very quiet with nothing open on Sundays. The only place was Maccas so had lunch at the golden arches.
After lunch had a walk around Hammond Park and this is where there were heaps of people. It is a real oasis in a remote town..
Otherwise had a general drive around - to the lookout and to the Super Pit lookout. No photos of that as we plan to do a tour into the mine on Tuesday so photos then.
Lots of pidgeons around here.
We have changed our plans a little so tomorrow we are going to do a 180km loop instead of taking the van over gravel roads.
