A slow start to the day and then a 40km drive in a loop west of Tenterfield with very interesting country (ie after a bakery stop to buy morning tea)!
Had a look around town as in the following photos..
Everyone would know of Peter Allen who was born in Tenterfield and his famous song "Tenterfield Saddler" was about his grandfather who was a saddler. The building is still a saddlery & quite a tourist attraction.
We are heading west tomorrow along the Bruxner Highway and don't know where we will go but most likely Texas Qld or Yetman.
