Day 76 - Coolamon

A nice pleasant days drive today and we came a little further than we thought. The drive from Balranald to Hay still brought some flowers and we had morning tea at Hay. Ken saw the Bidgee Trail sign so Percy & The Eagle had to do the loop around loops in the Murrumbidgee River. The stainless steel sculpture was to remember the Cobb & Co days. The next photo is crossing the Hay plains - for lunch went into Darlington Point and the next photo is the Murrumbidgee River and the Darlington Point Beach..

We were at Narrandera by 2 pm so came onto Coolamon. A nice park here and a powered site is only $10.

After settling in we did a walk around the man street - last photo. We have not stayed here before but the town seems very pleasant and well looked after...

Well it's now only 2 days until we arrive home. Tomorrow we will probably go to somewhere around Bathurst and be home on Wednesday.
