Day 72 - Clare

A lovely night at Mt Remarkable - Ken slept for 12 hours - woke up feeling a little better with the medication. Travelled a short distance to Port Germein and then we got our excercise by walking out to the end of the jetty which is the longest wooden one in Australia. Ken put the GPS on & it was just over 1.5km each way. Some photos of the jetty and Faye's birds - now gone to seabirds rather than inland...

Had morning tea at Crystal Brook and by chance we parked just around the corner from the bakery! So - had to visit. Then lunch at Yacka.

Coming into the Clare Valley is always picturesque especially with the canola in flower...

A couple of days ago it was 37 degrees & still hot yesterday but today was max of 18 so even Ken as a jacket on....staying here for 2 nights so tomorrow is a day of rest but will still have a look around ( and Faye keeps mentioning the word "shops" ).
