Queensland Day 33 Umagico

Our last day at top of Cape York! Last nights sunset was a little unusual as other nights there has been a cloud bank to the west but last night there was a break in the cloud..
This is the view opposite our tent...
Had a look around the area today - with a distinct aviation theme. This is a DC3 which crashed in 1945.
Faye tried to work on the Jacky Jacky memorial...
This is Jacky Jacky creek - Faye kept her distance from the crocs..
This bomber crashed in the war..
The USA air force left all these drums around in the bush..
And a local on the way back..
Done some shopping for the trip back south & refuelled Percy - a cheap $2.31 per litre!!!
Tomorrow we are going to Moreton Telegraphic Station & then 2 nights at Chilli Beach in Iron Range National Park. So blog will be a little late.....
