A bit of shopping - fuelled Percy ready for the upcoming trek to Cape York.
Spent the afternoon getting everything ready & all the camping equipment.
We are going to visit David & Alana at Mapoon (100km north of Weipa) for a few days then to the tip of Cape York. David is Faye's nephew & Alana is a school teacher at Mapoon.
Mapoon is nearly 900km so we will take 3 days. It is likely that we won't have mobile reception where we will be camped overnight so the blog will probably be a little late till we arrive.
For those who know Faye well - still having problems with her picking up things to bring home!!!! eg:
