Day 22 Castlemaine

An extremely varied & interesting day. Headed off this morning to...


which is part of the original mining areas - this is a mined area..


then to Vaughan Springs..


back to Caslemaine for a steam train ride to Maldon..


We did find the Historic Maldon Bakery for lunch - Faye even found a "country store" for clothes purchase! This is the main street..


Back on the train to Castlemaine...


And we finished the day with a walk around the Botanical Gardens which adjoins the caravan park...
