Day 23 Echuca

The sun was shining today & it was fairly hot - Percy said 30o.

Came through Bendigo so had a look at Bendigo Pottery again..


Had decided to spend 2 nights at Echuca but when we got here we found that Echuca get 30,000 extra people from tomorrow for the "Souhern 80" which is said to be the biggest water ski race in the world - & the finish is just alongside the caravan park. The park goes into "lockdown" from tomorrow! We could have stayed tomorrow night but it was $80 for the night - tonight is $30 - and the said it would be very very noisy so at least they were honest. So only staying 1 night....

Had a look at the Port and river..





Faye found same store that was in Maldon - so bought more clothes & even convinced Ken to buy trousers & shirt..Then it was time for Beechworth Bakey for afternoon tea - diet gone !!!!

No idea where we will be tomorrow night.
