Day 13 - Dingley Dell Farm Stay Bairnsdale

Buchan had a lot of vehicles visit this morning as a Variety 4WD adventure came to town. We were told about it yesterday & invited to join them for morning tea.

There were 34 vehicles as well as organizers (from Newcastle), paramedic (from Newcastle) etc. It was a NSW variety outing. Donated to the local school for a Bike program and also raised another $2,000 as well as the cheque above. To enable all the students to get a bike!

Heaps of food & as they left at 10.30 to go 4WDriving on local roads & farms. So we also left then with a final stop at the Roadhouse for coffee.

Tonight we are about 5 minutes from Bairnsdale on a farm “Dingley Dell”. Here for 3 nights. Tomorrow we have booked a 3 hour cruise on the Gippsland  lakes from Lakes Entrance.

It was only about 80kms today & we arrived at 1pm.

This afternoon we did a walk around a bit of the property as can be seen in photos above.
