Today we did a little driving - first stop Echo Point and the 3 Sisters.
We did walk to the 3 sisters and down the very steep steps across Honeymoon bridge to the sister No 1. Faye achieved those steps but coming up was a bit of a challenge! See last photo in the blog entry...
Next stop was to be Leura Cascades but all that area is closed off. Apparently with all the rain they have had bad landslides. Perhaps you have seen in the media that the rail to the Blue Mountains is closed. That is due also to landslides and a local told us that it was very fortunate that they didn’t loose a train.
Then went to Sublime Point lookout and lunch at Leura. After that to Blackheath and Govetts Leap...
Last trip was around Cliff Drive back to the caravan park for a rest. I think that Faye is a little worn out!
Did find a painted water tower and some of Faye’s friends.
Tomorrow the plan is down the scenic railway for a walk in the valley.
