We received a message that Ken’s oldest brother had passed away and the funeral is in Brisbane next Wednesday. Alwyn was 90 and has not been in good health. Ken had not seem him in recent years due to family circumstances with his wife. It was Benee who rang to tell us and Ken was able to have a talk with her. So - we have changed so we can be home on Sunday which means a big travel day tomorrow. We travelled until dark today and we are at Ardlethan. We have booked flights to Gold Coast for Tuesday pm and will return home late on Wednesday. The funeral is at 10am. Ken’s other brother Kel and his wife are coming also.
So for today’s travel - these are the silos at Tungamah where we stayed last night.
Then on to Yarrawonga for morning tea then across the Murray back into NSW.
The last 2 photos are at Urana.
Next stop was Lockhart to see their water tower...
Next stop was a brief one at Narrandera to check out their newly painted water tower...
Some other photos from today...
Tomorrow we will try and get to around Lithgow for a run then to home on Sunday.
