Day 8 - Moura

Well it rained most of last night at Isla Gorge and has rained nearly all day today.

Considered staying an extra day at Isla as Faye wasn’t 100% but as it was raining we came about 90 km to the mining town of Moura where there is another painted water tank...

We were going to free camp but decided to stay in a caravan park to have power for heating etc. Actually it is a miners camp with some powered sites. One of the benefits is that we can eat tonight in the miners mess. $15 each for 3 course meal and drinks.

Some photos of today...

The first 4 are at Isla this morning and then morning tea at Theodore. As we came across country to Moura passed a huge coal mine.

Not sure where we will end up tomorrow night as our planning has to change now. Will probably be somewhere up the Fitzroy Development Road so possibly no reception.
