Day 10 - Lake Elphinstone

A reasonably quiet night last night after a beautiful sunset. The only exception was that a refrigerated truck came in in the early hours and ran his compressor the rest of the night. Didn't stop us sleeping though.

Left about 9.30am and had morning tea along the road to Nebo.

Re the 2nd photo. There was huge amounts of this growing but we have no idea what it is!

Lots of coal mines through this area and nearly all the traffic is trucks and work utes.

After a short stop at Nebo to fill up water etc we came another 60 km to Lake Elphinstone.

It is a natural lake and lots of birds & ducks etc. Quite a few camped here - a free camp. We were here by lunch time so had a walk around and then rested for most of the afternoon. Tomorrow we are going to Collinsville - a mining town.
