Day 34 - Ramarama (Auckland)

Today was a trip into Auckland City by train. Got to the station and found out that trains were not running due to trackwork over the long weekend. So, onto a bus to a inner suburb from where they were still running trains. Thus a trip of 50 minutes became 90 minutes and we saw a lot of suburbs from the bus.

First stop in the City was a coffee stop. Then a walk around the main shopping area and then into Sky Tower...

After a good high look - back down to earth and walked around the waterfront. For lunch visited an Irish pub.

Then back to the train station for the train/bus return trip. Got back to our park by 5pm. Was an enjoyable day for our last tourist day in NZ.

Tomorrow is our last day which will be a clean up motorhome day and to get our luggage all packed up. May do a lunch visit to a nearby town that we haven't visited. Fly home on Tuesday on a 11am flight so we have to get the motorhome back to Maui by 8am when they open. The park people said we need to leave here by 6.30am at the latest as the motorway gets clogged up.

Thats probably the end of the New Zealand photos. Will do a quick final post tomorrow night with some statistics. It has been a fabulous holiday and we haven't had any hiccups at all.
