Day 28 - Paihia (Bay of Islands)

A lovely night at Spirits Bay. Left there around 10am and retraced our journey back down Cape Reinga. Had morning tea at Pukenui (2nd photo) and then lunch at Kaeo. Saw a sign advertising mutton pies so we indulged. They were very nice!

A couple of waterfalls along the way. The 1st one is Rainbow Falls and there was a rainbow below the falls.

Second one is Haruru Falls just outside Paihia. We have booked a cruise tomorrow to Hole in the rock and will spend the afternoon at Russell.

We are staying here for 3 nights and the last photo is from the motorhome.
