Day 25 - Kennet River

We were the only campers last night at Aire River so as we weren't going far today we slept in. Breakfast at 10am (pancakes on Saturday in lieu of Sunday!). Left there around 11.30am and went to Apollo Bay for a look and walk around. And also bought lunch there.

People everywhere at Apollo Bay and there was a rescue boat competition at the beach. We were amazed at the number of tour coaches going through at this time of the year. Seemed to be mainly Asian tourists.

Then onto Kennet River for the night. Only another 2 sites occupied. After setting up had a walk along the beach and more koalas in the trees.

The koala was active last night and got some night photos. Then Aire River this morning and to Apollo Bay.

Ken finally found a friend who he could hold hands with!

Another 20 kms to Kennet River. A slow and scenic trip. Faye even found some more stones to souvenir.

Tomorrow we will be in Geelong for 3 nights.
