Day 14 - Brim

Left Wyperfeld National Park around 9.30am and then 50km to Hopetoun to empty/fill van tanks and then morning tea at the Bakery.

The next silo was only 15km down the road, at Rosebery...

It represents the fresh female farmers and an old hand male with their special animals.

Here are some closer up photos...

Had a short stop in Beulah and the next 2 murals are there. The horses was painted only recently by the same artist who did the Rosebery silos.

Then came onto Brim in time for lunch and we are staying here for the night, adjacent to their little lake. $10 for powered space. Went to the General Store to buy lunch and had a lovely discussion with 2 ladies. Australia Post launched a special series of $1 stamps yesterday featuring 4 painted silos across Australia. The Victorian one features the Brim silos which started this Silo Art Trail. So we were able to buy a special booklet and a booklet of the Brim stamps.

Here are the Brim silos...

And some close ups...

The main reason we are staying in Brim is that they are the only silos that are floodlit at night so want to see that.

Just took a photo of the new stamps...

We saw the Qld one last year and will see the NSW one on our way home.
