The wind died down during last night but came up again this morning and we had a headwind all the way to Broken Hill. Worst fuel consumption so far...
The photos below are of the Darling river where we stayed, and then at Wilcannia at the old historic bridge. It was the first bridge built over the Darling between Wentworth and Bourke. As you can see there is a lot of water flowing down the Darling.
Lots of emus today instead of goats.
Arrived at Broken Hill at lunch time. Faye did some washing and then we went to the Tourist info and then to Woolworths for some food.
Staying here tomorrow to have a rest from towing the van. We have been here several times and done all the tourist things so not sure what we will do, except Faye is going to the silver mint!!
