A beautiful sunrise over Cooper's Creek this morning.
Today we did over 300 km to Toompine. Passed the Dingo Fence which is over 5400km long from the Great Australian Bight to Darling Downs. Morning tea near a lagoon with black swans.
Then lunch coutesy of the Quilpie Bakery. This afternoon came through to Toompine and we are staying in an area near the pub. It started to rain so had to make sure we were on a firm foundation!
Where we go tomorrow will depend on whether there is much rain overnight. Our plan is to go to Thargamindah but that involves 35km of gravel road which the publican says is quite firm but would get very slippery if wet. So we will see tomorrow morning.
Faye is getting excited now we are heading home! Our plan is to arrive home around next Thursday.
