Day 63 - Longreach

Only 180 km today but we had a big headwind all the way so the fuel useage was by far the highest for this trip. Arrived at Longreach for lunch then this afternoon had a quick look around and then walked the main street before stocking up on food as we are going remote for a few days.

The brolgas were walking around the park near our caravan.

The park had a free sausage sizzle for tea with a Country and Western singer Graham Rodger singing for 2 hours. He was really good and has put out heaps of CD's and won lots of awards, particularly for his song writing.

We have done all the normal tourist things in previous visits (like the Qantas Museum and Hall of Fame) so didn't do any of that stuff this time.

Tomorrow we are going somewhere around Stonehenge so may not have mobile reception.
