Only about 90km today to a national park camp at Jourama Falls. Had a look around Cardwell this morning, including the Battle of the Coral Sea memorial. Also met Vicki and Jen for morning tea as they were heading home from Townsville.
Stopped at the lookout over Hinchinbrook Island and then to Ingham to refuel and a few groceries.
We were at Jourama Falls for lunch so this afternoon after a rest we did the 3 km walk to the falls lookout.
Not a lot of water going over but still a good walk as you rock hop along and across the creek and then quite a climb to view the falls.
Tomorrow we will skirt around Townsville and then head west to Charters Towers and somewhere beyond. We are coming home via western Queensland. No mobile reception tonight so blog will be sent sometime in the morning.
