Day 61 Lightning Ridge

Well it's 7.30pm & we have just arrived back at the van to cook tea. We have had a great day & have just been to an outback theatre show "Black Queen" which is done in a home. It was really great & it has won heaps of awards. In 2010 it won 1st place in the Inland Tourism Awards & 3rd place for the whole State.

This morning & this afternoon we had a general look around - it's a very different place & most of the population live in the opal mining areas.

There is more to see than 2 days allows but tomorrow we are booked for a mine tour etc.
