Day 52 Birdsville

380km today to Birdsville - the road was in really good condition so it only took a bit over 5 hours. We have a unit in the C/Park here so no tent tonight. Here are some photos from today..































We found the drive to be very interesting with the outlook changing all the time. Some of the road was over sandhills. Was here by lunch time so the Birdsville Bakery was the go!

Our flight over Lake Eyre has been changed to tomorrow so we take off at 7.15am for the 3.5 hour flight. After that we are going down the Birdsville Track to Mungerannie where we will tent it for 2 nights whilst we see Cooper Creek in flood. We will be back in Birdsville on Tuesday evening & going back to Windorah on Wednesday. So you will see the next 2 days blog on Tuesay evening.
