Day 14 - Eden

First up today was the clothes washing as the next few nights we will be without power or water.

Then into Eden to visit the Eden Killer Whale Museum which we found very interesting. It centres on the early whaling history of the area & the role Killer Whales played in the capturing of other whales. They really did help the whalers round up the others. The most famous was “Tom” and his skeleton is in the museum. He was in the area for 50 years.

Had lunch from “The Bakery” & then back to the van for the mandatory Nannas nap.

Later in the afternoon we walked along the beach to the mouth of the Nullica River….

Some other photos of today.

Tomorrow off to Hobart Beach in Bournda National Park for 3 nights. Have conflicting advice whether there is mobile reception there so if no blog or photos tomorrow night - don’t worry - it will upload the next day.

As we move up the coast we will have to prebook tonight as many places are booked out and we need to find parks in the smaller places.
