Day 41 - Lake Boga

A slow morning and we didn’t leave Hopetoun until 11am. Had morning tea at a cafe there. We didn’t realise yesterday that this is a long weekend in Victoria as many shops were closed and lots of vans on the road. They have their holiday on Friday (for the AFL Grand Final Parade).

Lots of murals around and Faye loved the sheep (& ducks next to the van).

First stop today was the painted silos at Lascelles…

Then onto Sea Lake for their murals…

Had a look at Lake Tyrrell near Sea Lake & had lunch before we left.

Then to Lake Boga for tonights camp. We are camped next to the lake after getting a permit from the caravan park.

Lake Boga had a Catalina Flying Boat base in WW2. There is a museum with a catalina plane.

The sunset will be over the water again.

Tomorrow we will be back in NSW - Deniliquin is the target!
