Day 32 - Walker Flat

Another sleep in this morning. Left C/Park at 10.15 & first checked out the local park…

The sculpture is of Colin Thiele who wrote 101 books - the most famous is “Storm Boy” - made into a movie. He grew up in Eudunda.

Then to the bakery for morning tea - one of the best we have patronised - the last 2 photos were taken at the bakery.

Then onto Walker Flat which is on the Murray River - here for late lunch.

We are at a free camp just outside town right on the river. The Murray Princess went past this afternoon.

Tomorrow we are booked into Murray Bridge for 3 nights. Saturday we are booked for the Monarto Safari Park which is the biggest safari outside of Africa. Said to be South Aussie’s biggest tourist attraction.
