Day 3 - Nundle

First stop this morning was for coffee & donuts just outside the van park & for Faye to visit the Old Church Boutique where she spent $1….

Then into the country through forest country.

First stop was Hanging Rock lookout…

And then onto Sheba Dam which was built for use in the gold mining days.

Then back to town for lunch at the Peel Inn hotel - built in 1860. Photo of the pub is above in the first group of photos.

Then to the Nundle Woollen Mill, including a tour & Faye did make a purchase!

This is the only commercial spinning mill in Australia that does the lot from the raw wool to finished yarn. The wool comes from Tasmania, is washed in Geelong & the rest in Nundle.

Back to the van for a rest & seeing we had a huge lunch - ice cream for tea!
