Day 16 - Muckadilla

Faye had a lovely morning meeting with the Wallumbilla KYB (Know Your Bible) ladies & Ken enjoyed the morning tea. They are only a small group (& 2 were away today) and it is 5 years since Faye first visited them.

Faye gave them gifts that the Newcastle KYB had made.

We left Wallumbilla around 1pm and first stop was Roma & we viewed a special sculpture exhibition that was on display for 3 months. Most were available for sale & lots have been sold. They were priced up from about $2,000 to several thousands for the big ones.

The gas industry is big around here. The 1st photo is AGL’s gas plant near Wallumbilla.

Then another 40kms to Muckadilla for the nights camp.

The 1st photo is “The Big Rig” and then the biggest Qld Bottle Tree in Roma.

Tomorrow somewhere around Augathella to Tambo.
