2024 Holiday to North Queensland…Day 1 - Wallabadah

For our 2nd holiday for 2024 we are going to the Atherton Tablelands to visit Faye’s brother & wife who now live at Tolga near Atherton. This trip will be about 2 months & we are just going to take it easy with no big driving days.

Left home this morning around 10 with morning tea after 30kms at a rest area on the Hunter Expressway. Lunch was a pie at Aberdeen. We always visited this pie shop when we were teenagers driving the New England and surprised that it is still operating.

Tonight we are at Wallabadah alongside the First Fleet memorial gardens.

Tomorrow going to Uralla to spend a couple of days with Faye’s sister.
