Still cannot get anywhere so we have paid for another 2 nights. It looks like we wont be able to go north from here but should be able to get to Kingaroy in a day or so so will have to wind a zig zag course to eventually get west and then south via St George.
Today did some washing and then to Murgon for morning tea.
The bird a pale headed rosella turned up yesterday for the bird feeding. The road closed signs are just near the entry to the caravan park. Went to the south of Murgon where the road south is blocked. As you can see there is still a lot of water.
The road to Goomeri has opened so went for a drive there for lunch but every cafe and the bakery were closed!
Goomeri has an annual pumpkin festival. So back to the van for a late lunch and a restful afternoon.
