Days 34 & 35 - Quinola Lakes

No photos from yesterday. In the morning we watched the livestream funeral of our dear friend Max Brown. A lovely service which honoured his life and was a great testimony of his faith in Jesus.

Then it was mainly a cleaning day - Faye in the van and Ken washing Percy.

Then we went to David and Alana’s for tea picking up fish and chips on the way. Faye went to KYB with Alana….

Today we spent the day with Kevin and Pat travelling to Dimbulah for lunch and then mainly a back road back via Irvinebank.

The road went alongside the irrigation channels for farmers for much of the way. The water comes from Lake Tinaroo.

The 5th photo is a sugar cane mill.

Lunch was at Camp 64 in Dimbulah…

Then we did a loop to Petford and onto Irvinebank.

The last photo is alongside Emu Creek where we stopped for afternoon tea. Can you see the 2 people riding a camel?

Then back to Quinola via Herberton…

Faye was looking for flowers!

Arrived back at 5pm and we did 212km.
