Day 19 - Mount Molloy (Rifle Creek Rest Area)

A slow start to the day and then getting ready for the road. Had morning tea at Quinola first and the opportunity to day goodbye to some of Pat’s family who had travelled from NSW for the celebrations.

Left around 11.15am and came through to Mount Molloy where we are camped tonight and then about 200km tomorrow to Cooktown.

We are camped next to Rifle Creek in the photo above.

It’s fairly busy here with vans still coming in. We got a spot OK as it was only lunchtime when we arrived.
