Left Crooked Creek around 10.30 after pancakes for breakfast and had morning tea at the turnoff to Bonalbo. Lots of carved poles but don’t know their significance.
Arrived Bonalbo around 12.30 and we are in the little caravan park. Did the washing and then lunch.
This afternoon walked to the main street and talked to some locals and bought some homemade yummies at the hardware store! Then an ice cream to keep us going.
The dog sculpture is a tribute to working dogs. The first working dog trial in Australia was held at Bonalbo in 1950.
Just relaxing at present in the shade. It was over 30o today.
Tomorrow is another short travel day to somewhere around Urbenville.
