The last 2 are of The Nimbin Rocks which overlook the town. A painting and the real thing.
A very windy road with outlooks to Mt Warning.
First stop was at Nimbin candle factory where we did make some purchases. It is the only place in Aussie that makes candles the traditional way of continuously dipping the wick. After that headed for lunch and then a walk around the main street. Obviously many “hippy” types around.
No - we didn’t buy any cookies! However Faye did make some purchases at Hemping Around. They had recipes for “special” cookies.
Along the way to Nimbin we did turn off onto Williams Road to Hanging Rock Falls...
After an ice cream came back to Kyogle a different way...
Tomorrow we head south through Casino on the Summerland Way towards Grafton and will free camp somewhere along the way.
The plan is to get to Dorrigo on Tuesday and will spend 2 days with Sandra Bannerman before heading to Uralla to visit Faye’s sister.
