It was interesting and also had morning tea at a cafe there.
From there to Peak Hill it rained but not at Peak Hill. Booked into the caravan park...
Had lunch and then went to the historic area where there were Gold Mines right on the edge of town...
There were 5 mines and the top photo was the main one which was mined until 2002.
An interesting walk around the mines.
Then it was to the Multi Purpose centre where Ken had an appointment with the Community Nurse to change his dressings. 3rd hospital in 4 days!
Said the dressings should be changed again by Friday so that will be at Wellington. Will be home on Sunday...
Tomorrow we will go to Dubbo and then down to Yeoval which is part of the “Animals on bikes” sculpture trail.
