Only town on the road was Bogan Gate and then arriving at Parkes at lunch time. As soon as we set up and had lunch we went to Parkes Hospital where we spent the next 4+ hours getting Ken’s injuries looked at and dressings changed.
No Drs on duty but was seen by a Nurse Practitioner who was very good. Their ED was very busy and they did apologise for the delay.
Said all the affected areas would heal fine and also Ken got a tetanus booster.
Here for 2 nights.
