Day 8 - Eugowra

A lovely sunset last night. This morning we went downtown to do food shopping, morning tea and of course Faye found a clothes shop! The rational was that we need to spend money in these small country towns...

Left Canowindra about 12 and came 33 kms to Eugowra - town of murals as it is promoted. They have a annual painters festival each May.

After lunch we did a walk around to photograph some of the murals - here is a taste!

Tomorrow we were going into Nangar National Park to camp for 2 nights but the locals say our van may have some difficulty due to steep gullies. The N/P website says it is for caravans.  The shop man suggested leaving the van here in town and just go in by 4WD for the day. So that is what we will do. Its only 19km to the camp and he said if we felt it was OK we could come back and get the van. After the campsite there are 4wd tracks to the summit.
