Faye has a piece of granite stowed away in Percy!
A short hop to Wauchope hotel (not like the NSW one - pronounce something like “war cup” as a young USA girl advised) for morning coffee and then to Wycliffe Well for a cold drink and a small fix up on the van.
Only about 120km to Barrow Creek where we are spending the night at Matt’s quarry under the escarpment. Three other campers here also.
Good to have mobile reception again. Tomorrow we will be in Alice Springs for a week.
We sent the last 2 nights blog along the way today at an innovation we hadn’t seen before. You put the phone/tablet on a special stand in front of a dish (like a satellite dish) which amplifies the signal and allows reception.
