Went via Mareeba and the compulsary first stop for morning tea was at Emerald Creek Ice Creamery. Great stuff!!
Had coffee first then concluded with ice cream. Lots of Red winged parrots around.
Then went onto Barron Falls for some exercise.
Next stop was nearby Kuranda for a walk around and lunch. Of course found a shop to buy a skirt!
Then down the range to Holloway Beach just north of Cairns for a look at their painted water tower.
By the time we got to Cairns city it was time for afternoon tea. And a walk around...
As can be seen the tide was well out. The last photo was taken on the way back via the Gillies range and we arrived back around 5.30Pm.
