Day 13 - Green Valley Farm

Well today was interesting and different!

This place was a sheep property which was purchased by a family many years ago and gradually they developed a family fun park. They have a waterslide and all sorts of equipment for kids (and adults) and a canteen. Also a museum. In more recent times have introduced cabins and powered sites for vans etc.

Also have lots of animals and mini golf etc. We spent 3 hours in the park (camping fee included entry) - had morning tea there and lunch.

The parents that started it are still alive and the whole place is run by the family. Had 5 kids but 2 died with heart issues and have 19 grandchildren. It was the grandkids who were serving etc and had a good talk to one of them. Some photos of the day...

Noticed some christian signs around and the entry sign referred to God’s earth.

Tomorrow we start to head home and will free camp tomorrow night somewhere around Bingara or Manilla.
