Day 33 - Tungamah

A lovely sunset last night and then the mist just rolled in and the 2nd photo is it coming down the main straight of the race track.

This morning left around 10.30 and onto our first silo of the day at Goorambat which is above Benalla.

It is a barking owl which is endangered.

This silo was only finished in late March.

Lots of people around today especially as it is a long weekend. The silos today were very different with those further west.

A mural has also been done in the Uniting Church at Goorambat....

It is called “Sophia” and is from the Old Testament. The name is the greek word for Wisdom, being Holy Wisdom from God. Apparently wisdom was personified as female. Also included is the Dove, representing the Holy Spirit.

Then onto Devenish for the next silos which were only unveiled on Anzac Day this year.

It represents a World War 1 nurse and a current nurse paramedic.

Next stop was Tungamah where we are staying tonight in a free camp alongside Boosey Creek...

There are also painted silos here which we will include in tomorrows blog.
