A lovely quiet night last night and we were up early this morning. Today has been extremely windy and all the way for 300km we had a full headwind. So had to top up with fuel at Balladonia as the usage was about 40% higher than usual. Today the cost per litre was 187.9 which is the highest so far but only bought 20 litres so we can then fill up at Norseman tomorrow.
Morning tea was at a blowhole at the beginning of the 90 mile straight. Then a bought lunch at Balladonia.
Tonight we are Newman Rocks which is about 150km from Norseman. It is a lovely rock and waterhole. So far we are the only ones here and it is said that animals come to drink at dusk. There is camel poo around and lots of footprints.
Tomorrow we will be in Kalgoorlie and we will stay there for a few days.
Am going up a hill now to see if I can get mobile reception. If you see the blogThursday you will know have been successful. Otherwise tomorrow sometime.
