Day14 - Evans Head

Only about 80 km today to Evans Head. Had morning tea at Devils Pulpit rest area! There was a coffee and food van there so bought morning tea.

Arrived here around 11am and we have a camp site right near the Evans River. Originally was only going to stay 2 nights but changed to 3 so we can do a day trip to our original home when we were married 50 years ago. That was Bangalow and it is only 55 km away so taking the opportunity to bring back some memories..

After lunch did a walk around the waterfront to the beach and then back to the town shops which are adjacent to the caravan park - that included a nice ice cream at a kiosk just near where we are camped!
