Day 9 - Moorrinya National Park

Before leaving Lake Dunn this morning had a little time with Marj Dickson whose family own the property...

Marj is well known to Faye's brother and his wife who have been there many times to help in drought times.

Stayed on the bitumen by going back to Aramac - here we are going down the "jump up"...

Morning tea at Aramac - next to the park...

Then we came along to Moorrinya National Park - camped next to he shearing shed - we are the only ones here tonight...the camp is 17km from the main road on station roads - the web site says 4WD required but it had recently been graded so no problem at all...

Went for a walk along the dry river bed...

And Faye always finds some treasure - "there's a hole in the bucket dear Liza"...

Faye then brought back some more memories touring the buildings and shearing shed...

Tonight's sunset...

Tomorrow we are booked into Porcupine Gorge National Park so about 450km from there to Quinola Lakes. Should arrive at Kevin and Pat's on Sunday.
